EWR Fantasy - Hogan achète la WCW (2001)

Salut tout le monde!Je vous invite à suivre l’évolution de ma nouvelle partie sur Extreme Warfare Revenge. Scénario fait sur mesure pour moi qui s’ennuie de la WCW! Vos commentaires sont les bienvenues. Bonne lecture !

En résumé

Dans une tentative ultime de sauver la WCW, Hulk Hogan s’associe à un groupe d’investisseur et achète la compagnie sous le nez de Vince McMahon. Plus que jamais, on sent la possibilité de revoir la rivalité des Monday Nights War. Mais tout n’est pas gagné car la réputation de la WCW a souffert dans ce processus. Bien que Hogan est une figure incontournable de la lutte, saura-t-il sauver la World Championship Wrestling ? Il a fort à faire avec une fédération qui n’a plus que lui comme Staff, et une vingtaine de lutteurs qui ont choisis d’embarquer dans l’aventure. Il y a beaucoup à faire et ce dès la première semaine puisque la WCW doit se trouver du personnel, des sponsors, plus de lutteurs et veiller à préparer une relève. Voyons si la WCW pourra se relever avec Hogan à sa tête !

Stats de départ : Fédération Globale basée aux États-Unis (Image 10). Risque à 64, Production value à 90. Advertising à 90 et Marchandise à 80. Pas de fédération de développement ni de Training Camp. Un show par semaine le lundi sur TNT «WCW Nitro».

Samedi, 1er Mars 2001

Grosse journée pour la fédération. Nitro aura lieu après-demain et l’embauche de personnel est essentielle. Le premier geste d’Hogan sera de signé des ententes avec 4 commanditaires : Sports Illustrated (Majeur) Nintendo (mineur) Stacker 2 (mineur) et Playstation (mineur). Hogan à ensuite rencontré son assistante Sophie qui lui a soumis une liste de recommandation. Suite à ces recommandations, le nouveau propriétaire à fait l’embauche de plusieurs personnes dont : Dory Funk et Bobby Heenan. Hogan a surpris plusieurs en embaucher plusieurs writers de moins de 25 ans. Hogan a aussi continué les téléphones afin d’avoir plus de susperstars dans ses rangs. C’est ainsi que The Sandman, Psichosis, La Parka et Christopher Daniels, entre autres, ont été embauchés. Le «Power Plan», fédération de développement de la WCW a été relancé avec Tim Mercy à sa tête.

C’est la deuxième journée seulement de la Hogan Era et elle débute par une lecture rapide des documents founis par son assistante. La WWE aurait fait du ménage dans son staff et ses rosters. Hogan a complété l’embauche de son Staff ainsi que de ses lutteurs rapidement le matin en signant les derniers contrats. L’après midi du Hulkster a été occupé à plancher sur les Storylines du prochain mois avec sa nouvelle équipe, appuyé de certains lutteurs dont Nash, Hall et Goldberg. Il est déjà acquis qu’il y aura un PPV en Mars soit Uncensored.

Micheal Cole et Jimmy Hart sont à leur poste comme commentateurs pour le premier WCW Nitro de la Hogan Era. Hogan est en arrière scène et il donne ses dernières directives. Il y a un gros buzz autour de ce show qui relancera, ou terminera la WCW. Les rumeurs les plus folles ont circulés sur le web. Le groupe d’actionnaires pourraient être composés de Shane McMahon, on parle aussi de Ric Flair et plusieurs autres. Quelles surprises nous attendent ? C’est à suivre lors du premier Nitro live on TNT !

WCW Nitro Hogan Era La musique de la n.W.o. résonne dans l’amphithéâtre et Hollywood Hulk Hogan arrive en compagnie de ses acolytes The Outsiders. Tantôt hué, tantôt ovationné, le trio embarque dans le ring, micro à la main. Hollywood Hulk Hogan : Bienvenue à la WCW Hogan Era ! Kevin Nash : n.W.o. is in the HOUSE ! Scott Hall : Hey Yo ! We just save the show ! Hollywood Hulk Hogan : Ne vous en faites pas! Vous êtes ici pour voir de l’action et il y en aura. Je ne m’étenderai pas en long discours, ce qui va sauver cette fédération et m’empêcher de perdre de l’argent, c’est l’action. De l’action il y en aura ce soir et tout au long du mois qui se terminera par Uncensored le 30 Mars. Ce soir, le US Title sera en jeu entre Konnan, Vampiro, La Parka et Chris Kanyon. Il y aura, d’ici à Uncensored, un tournoi entre 8 hommes pour décider des 2 hommes qui s’affronteront dans un Falls Count Anywhere Match pour le World Heavyweight Title lors d’Uncensored. Ces 8 hommes sont : Goldberg, Bret Hart, Sting, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner, Randy Savage et… moi-même ! D’ailleurs, ce soir, Sting et Goldberg affronteront DDP et Steiner et l’équipe perdante sera éliminée du tournoi. Brother, it’s time to let that show begin! Match Background: Crazy is making his debut at this show. Siaki is making his debut at this show. Corino is making his debut at this show. The Match: Crazy tastes a high angle back suplex. If Spike Lee can sue TNN over the Spike TV nonsense, then Kurt Angle should be able to sue SOMEONE for that. Tiger bomb by Steve Corino, which is nowhere near as cool as a botched Pedigree but gets the job done. Hooks the leg for a two count. Corino tags out to Super Dragon. Super Dragon scoops up Crazy. Corino bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. Hard back suplex on Crazy. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. There's a two count on the pin. Dropkick connects to the butt of the jaw and Crazy goes down. Crazy reverses a waistlock. Springboard dropkick from Super Crazy. Nicely done. Tag to Sonny Siaki. Spin kick by Sonny Siaki to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. Siaki crushes Super Drag with a huge legdrop. Super Dragon elbows Sonny Siaki in the face to break a hammerlock. Super Drag tags out to Steve Corino. BRAINBUSTAH~! by Steve Corino! Steve Corino brings out a jumping powerbomb to nearly murder Siaki in the ring! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Steve Corino snap suplexes Siaki. Siaki backdrops Steve Corino out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Sonny Siaki. Vicious back suplex! Steve Corino got nailed big time! Corino holds Sonny Siaki in place. Super Dragon charges...but Siaki ducks, andSuper Dragends up flooringCorino! Sonny Siaki moves in for the kill. Siakalypse Now!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Corino \ Super Drag don't look like they're finished by any means...and they rush forward to attack Siaki \ Crazy, and send them to the outside. Threats are exchanged as the chaos ends. My Opinion: Usually, this is designated for good matches that were usually way too short for some reason. What's your excuse? *3/4 66% Micheal Cole : Siaki c’est assuré de la victoire avec cette tricherie. Je dois dire que je ne suis pas en accord avec sa façon de faire ! Jimmy Hart : Tout ce qui importe, c’est la victoire… On se retrouve en arrière scène alors qu’il paraît que ça brasse ! En arrière, Raven et The Sandman en sont aux coups ! Raven tente de frapper The Sandman avec une chaise mais la clope au bec, Sandman envoie un coup de pied dans les bijoux de famille de Raven suivis d’un DDT sur la chaise. Sandman prend Raven et le prend par les cheveux pour le traîner jusqu’au ring où se disputera le titre Hardcore entre les 2 hommes. Micheal Cole : L’ironie est de devoir passer par le ring pour officiellement début ce match…aux règles Hardcore ! Jimmy Hart : Brian Knobs ferait de la bonne job aussi dans ce match ! Que dire de Bam Bam Bigelow ! Micheal Cole : Pas besoin d’être Overweight à ce point pour faire du Hardcore ! Match #2, The Sandman vs Raven, Hardcore Rules, Hardcore Title Match Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. Sandman is making his debut at this show. This match is for the WCW Hardcore title. The Match: Raven eats a trash can, but not the contents in it, obviously. Nice piledriver on Raven. Covers for a quick two count. Sandman drops an elbow...but Raven moves out of the way. Sandman takes a headbutt from Raven. Raven slams The Sandman down and motions to the crowd. Hooks the leg for a two count. Raven chair shots The Sandman. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Raven slams The Sandman down and motions to the crowd. Sandman reverses a Raven hammerlock. Raven walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. Covers for a quick two count. Powerbomb on Raven. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Sandman slams Raven down and motions to the crowd. The Sandman scoop slams Raven onto and through a table. Raven once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Running knee lift from Raven. Raven scores with a standing spinebuster. Chris Kanyon comes running down the aisle and into the ring! The Sandman turns around. Chris Kanyon spins Sandman around. Chris Kanyon hits the Flatliner! Kanyon leaves the ring, the damage done! The ref gets into position, administers the three count, and it's over. Raven pins Sandman. Raven and Kanyon are beating down on The Sandman! The music of La Parka hits, and he comes running down the aisle into the ring. Raven and Kanyon bail out of the ring, leaving The Sandman down in the ring. La Parka may have saved The Sandman from a brutal beating. My Opinion: A wise man once said 'Can I get a side of bland with that bland'. He's dead now, though. That's what this match was...bland. ** 76% Micheal Cole : Nous avons notre premier champion Hardcore de la Hogan Era en Raven. Dans quelques minutes, nous connaîtrons aussi le premier US Champion alors que Kanyon, Konnan, Vampiro et  La Parka Jimmy Hart : La Parka et Kanyon ont déjà mis la table à un affrontement un peu plus personnel en intervenant dans le dernier match. Parlant d’interférence, qu’est-ce qui se passe en arrière… En arrière, Eddie Guerrero envoie Rey Mysterio tête première dans une machine distributrice avant de lui éclater un pot de fleur sur la tête. Guerrero regarde Rey, sonné sur le sol avant le lui dire qu’il est la force latine de cette fédération, contrairement à lui qui est la honte mexicaine. Micheal Cole : Il semble que l’amitié n’est pas ce qui caractérique la relation entre les 2 hommes. Quoi qu’il en soit, il faut garder le focus car nous sommes rendus au match pour le US Title. Match #3, Kanyon vs Konnan vs La Parka vs Vampiro, US Title Match Match Background: This will be a four corners bout. Parka is making his debut at this show. This match is for the WCW United States title. The Match: Flying shoulder tackle by Kanyon sends Vampiro CRASHING to the mat. Vampiro is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. There's a two count on the pin. Massive backbreaker on Vampiro and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Vampiro flips out of a Chris Kanyon bodyslam attempt. Vampiro hits a rolling kick on Kanyon. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Hooks the leg for a two count. Flying cross body off the top rope! There's a two count on the pin. Chris Kanyon once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Konnan gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Tag to Konnan. BIG clothesline on Vampiro. Spear by Konnan. Stun Gun from Konnan! I still can't believe that was Austin's finisher at one point. Konnan scores with a big spinebuster. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Tag between Konnan and La Parka. Vampiro takes a flying neckbreaker from La Parka. DDT from the top rope by La Parka. That looked KILLER. Covers for a quick two count. Hard back suplex on Vampiro. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Hooks the leg for a two count. Super kick by La Parka. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Tag between Vampiro and Chris Kanyon. Chris Kanyon hits a bulldog off the ropes. La Parka charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Parka is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. Parka powers out of a headlock. DDT from the top rope by La Parka. That looked KILLER. Chris Kanyon is in trouble. La Parkinator! 1....2....3. My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a ** rating. Something went wrong somewhere, didn't it? 73% Alors que La Parka célèbre sa victoire, il est attaqué par Vampiro. La Parka en prend pour son rhume jusqu’à ce que The Hurricane vienne le sortir du pétrin ! La caméra suit Hurricane et La Parka qui retourne ensemble en arrière scène. Le caméraman arrête soudainement de suivre le duo pour suivre des sont provenant du bout du corridor. Lorsqu’il arrive sur place, il y trouve Booker T inconscient, seul au milieu du corridor. Match #4, Bret Hart vs Jeff Jarrett, Single Match Match Background: Jarrett is making his debut at this show. The Match: Jeff Jarrett with a spinning neckbreaker on The Hitman. Jarrett hits a piledriver on Bret Hart. That used to end matches, you know. There's a two count on the pin. Jarrett goes for a splash but The Hitman puts the knees up. Back suplex on Jarrett. Jarrett gets caught with a short powerbomb from The Hitman. There's a two count on the pin. Wicked suplex out of the corner from Bret Hart, is executed so well, it hurt MY back. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by The Hitman. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. Jarrett counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Jeff Jarrett hits a bulldog off the ropes. Hooks the leg for a two count. Powerbomb on The Hitman. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. BIG clothesline on The Hitman. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Jeff Jarrett ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Jarrett charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. A Gut buster connects on Jarrett and hits hard. Jarrett gets hit with SPLASH MOUNTAIN~! out of the corner! Bret Hart floors Jeff Jarrett. Here it comes...Sharpshooter! Jeff Jarrett taps! Bret Hart offers a handshake to Jarrett...and he accepts it! No! Jeff Jarrett levels The Hitman with a cheap shot right hand! Jeff Jarrett spins The Hitman around. Jeff Jarrett hits the Stroke! Bret Hart has been floored after the match. My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me. 84% Micheal Cole : Alors que Jeff Jarrett demeure dans le ring à argumenter avec l’arbitre, Bret Hart retraite vers les coulisses en tapant dans les mains des fans. Jimmy Hart : C’est bientôt le temps du premier Main-Event de la Hogan Era! Micheal Cole : Les perdants de ce match seront exclus du tournoi pour le World Heavyweight Title. On vous rappel que ce titre sera disputé lors d’Uncensored. Sting et Goldberg contre Page et Steiner, tout de suite après la l’interview de Scott Steiner ! Match #5, Goldberg & Sting vs Page & Steiner, WHC Tournament.   Match Background: None. The Match: Bill Goldberg hits some punches. How generic. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Scott Steiner by Goldberg. Remember when that was a legit finish? Hooks the leg for a two count. Goldberg tags out to Sting. Goldberg \ Sting whip Poppa Pump into the ropes and hit a double clothesline. There's a two count on the pin. BIG clothesline on Poppa Pump. Poppa Pump counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Big piledriver on Sting. Covers for a quick two count. Tag between Scott Steiner and Diamond Dallas Page. Sting walks into a side slam. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Running knee lift from Diamond Dallas Page. Diamond Dallas Page gets taken down out of nowhere! Diamond Dallas Page charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Tag to Bill Goldberg. Bill Goldberg connects with rights and lefts and Diamond Dallas Page is down! DDP tags out to Scott Steiner. Fallaway slam by Bill Goldberg puts down Scott Steiner. Scott Steiner climbs to the top rope, ready to leap at Goldberg. Diamond Dallas Page bounces off the ropes for an elbow drop without seeing his partner, and crotches Poppa Pump by accident. Scott Steiner is in trouble. Jackhammer!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! The Outsiders just hit the ring with chairs! Stereo chair shots put down Goldberg \ Sting! DDP tries to attack, but gets beaten to the floor with punches and kicks. Scott Steiner has a brief offensive flurry, but gets nailed with a boot to the gut...and hit with the Super Bomb! The Outsiders have laid everyone out! My Opinion: I can be generous sometimes. Well, depends on your definition of generous. **1/4. 84% Overall Show Rating : 79% [/justify]

Voilà le premier show, dites-moi si vous préférez ce genre de show ou juste un copier coller de ce qui sort du EWR ?

Je préfère comme ça. C'est mieux quand c'est toi qui fait les segments au lieu de copier/coller EWR (même si ça demande un peu de travail). A ta place pour un souci de clarté, j'oublierais peut être de prendre le booking des matchs du jeu et je mettrais juste les résultats, accompagné de certaines précisions concernant des points importants à retenir. Mais c'est à toi de voir, ça ne change pas grand chose à la qualité du show.

Concernant le show, Sandman vs Raven, j'ai aimé. Pareil pour le déclenchement de la feud entre Guerrero et Mysterio. J'ai envie d'en voir plus au prochain show et savoir où ça va nous mené. Le main event était pas mal. Vu la fin, DDP & Steiner n'en resteront surement pas là.

Mardi, 4 Mars 2001, lendemain du premier Nitro !

Au lendemain du premier Nitro, la réaction du public, des experts et d’Hogan lui-même était en demi-teinte. Si un rating de 5,43 est quand même le bienvenu, TNT a demandé à la WCW de rendre le show moins violent. La WWE a battue la WCW dans les ratings par près de 2 points. Les 2 seuls lutteurs de la WCW avec des Opens Contracts ont signés avec une autre fédération, tout en demeurant lié à la WCW. Hogan a répliqué en signant le Road Dogg Jesse James ainsi que X-Pac et Ron Killings en plus des jeunes prometteurs CM Punk, Adam Windsor Roderick Strong et Shark Boy qui ont été assigné au Power Plant. Hogan a aussi donné l’envoie à son nouveau camp d’entrainement. On pouvait s’attendre à ce que ce département apparaisse bientôt avec l’embauche de Dory Funk, et c’est chose faite.

Plusieurs rumeurs circulent présentement sur le web. Steve Austin serait sur le point de prendre sa retraite pour une carrière au cinéma. Jeff Jarrett serait sur le point de quitter la WCW. Il aurait été au centre d’une mêlée dans les coulisses hier après Nitro. Ce sont des dossiers à suivre.

Mercredi, 5 Mars 2001 jusqu’au Lundi 10 Mars 2001

Suite à une rencontre avec l’équipe de writers, il a été décidé de baisser le niveau de risque de la fédération afin de garder le contrat avec TNT. Aussi, suite à la réaction en lien avec l’altercation Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio Jr, il a été convenu de démarré une rivalité entre les 2 hommes.

WCW Nitro #2 Hogan Era Le 2e Nitro de la Hogan Era débute avec un match de vitesse et d’agilité entre TAKA Michinoku et Super Dragon. Match #1, TAKA Michinoku vs Super Dragon. Match Background: TAKA is making his debut at this show. The Match: Standing leg lariat by TAKA Michinoku on Super Drag. TAKA Michinoku gets taken down out of nowhere! Super Drag hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. SHINING WIZARD~! on TAKA by Super Drag! Pinfall attempt, but the ref is out and can't count to three! TAKA Michinoku fights out of a grapple. Implant DDT by TAKA Michinoku! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Superkick by TAKA Michinoku practically knocks out all of Super Dragon's teeth! There's a two count on the pin. Springboard dropkick from TAKA Michinoku. Nicely done. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Super Drag counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. SUPER  frankensteiner on TAKA, who hit hard. Pin, but TAKA is out just before the three count. Super Dragon misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Super Drag scores with a forearm, sending TAKA down into the corner. The referee pulls Super Dragon away to get the break. Wait! TAKA has pulled something out of his tights. Super Dragon walks over...and gets floored by a punch! 1....2....3! The referee never saw the brass knuckles! TAKA Michinoku remains in the ring, celebrating the victory. My Opinion: A **** rating is well deserved for the competitors in this match. This match is for the WCW Cruiserweight title. The Match: Juventud Guerrera connects with a back heel kick on Hurricane and gets back up quickly. Juventud Guerrera kicks the leg, knocks Daniels down, and goes to work on it. Hurricane blocks a punch. Hurricane hits a dropkick on Juventud Guerrera and gets right back up. GORGEOUS Spinning bulldog in the corner and Hurricane is down. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Daniels takes a flying neckbreaker from Juventud Guerrera. Daniels blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Hurricane \ Daniels whip Juvi into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Tiger suplex on Juvi. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, dammit. ONE...TWO...THREE. Hurricane defeats Juvi. Flying reverse elbow by The Hurricane. The Hurricane misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Springboard dropkick from Christopher Daniels. Nicely done. There's a two count on the pin. Micheal Cole : Voilà tout un match et si ce qui se passe depuis 2 semaines ici, je crois que cette tengeante va sourire à la WCW avec ce genre de match. Eddie \ Storm don't look like they're finished by any means...and they rush forward to attack Mysterio J \ Benoit, and send them to the outside. Threats are exchanged as the chaos ends. My Opinion: A ****3/4 rating for a great match. Close, but not 5 stars. Sting \ Goldberg escape the cage for the win. Nash \ Hogan look like they aren't done...and they attack Sting \ Goldberg! After an exchange of blows, Sting and Goldberg are laid out in the ring. My Opinion: I'm capable of giving out high star ratings...but only for matches that really deserve it. This one didn't. **1/4. Overall : 76% (crowd 92%, Match 72%) Micheal Cole : Sting et Goldberg sont toujours du tournoi alors qu’Hogan, Nash, Page et Steiner n’y sont plus! Il reste donc dans le dit tournoi : Sting, Goldberg, Scott Hall et Randy Savage. Jimmy Hart : De vrais hommes. Quoi que Hogan n’a peut-être pas dit son dernier mot. Semaine du 11 au 17 Mars, 2e semaine de la Hogan Era

Hogan a eu une grosse rencontre mardi avec l’équipe créatrice de la WCW. Plusieurs personnes suggères d’apporter des changements dans les gimmick des lutteurs. On croit aussi que les produits de hautes voltiges pourraient devenir la marque de commerce de la WCW, se distinguant aussi de ses concourents. Ce fut d’ailleurs un point marquant du dernier Nitro. Bonne nouvelle, la WWE a dépassé Nitro dans les ratings par seulement 0,60. Enfin d’améliorer le produit, la WCW a négocier avec TNT afin de pouvoir présenter un produit plus risqué ce qui a été accepté.

Le jeune brawler prometteur Harley Lewis a été signé afin de rejoindre le Power Plant.

Pour un petit résumé du WHC Tournament, Page, Steiner, Hogan, Nash et Randy Savage ne sont plus du tournoi. Il reste donc Scott Hall (qui remplace Hart), Goldberg et Sting.

Que de très bons matchs ! Hogan fait sa loi en faisant avancé Scott Hall, mais Goldberg et Sting montrent que ça ne sera pas aussi aisé pour la nWo.

Le calcul de l'ov de chaque match combine la qualité du match et la réaction de la foule. Il m'arrive souvent que l'OV du match soit plus basses que la qualité du match et la réaction de la foule.

Blessure Storyline pour Hart !

Je ne saurais vraiment t'expliquer, il faudrait un gros connaisseur du jeu pour ça. Ce que je peux t'assurer c'est que l'OV n'est pas une moyenne des deux autres. Je crois même que les trois notes (OV du match, réac de la foule et qualité) sont indépendantes. Selon moi, l'OV dépendrait de l'overall des lutteurs, la réac de la foule dépendrait plutôt du charisme des lutteurs et la qualité dépend logiquement de l'alchimie In-Ring des lutteurs. Mais ce n'est que ce que je crois, je ne suis sûr de rien.

Semaine #3. 18 au 23 Mars

La WCW maintient son combat avec le Monday Night War n’étant pas surclassé par la WWE mais devancé de seulement 0,60 points dans les ratings. Une mauvaise nouvelle attendait cependant Hogan samedi matin puisque Scott Hall s’est blessé vendredi soir lors d’un House Show au New-Jersey (pas dans une storyline!). Sérieuse blessure pour le Bad Guy qui sera absent huit mois, il a dû être opéré d’urgence au cou dans la nuit de vendredi à samedi.  Le prochain Nitro sera le dernier avant Uncensored. Si on sait déjà qu’il y au un Falls Count Anywhere match pour le WHC. Les titres par équipe n’ont toujours pas trouvé preneur. La rivalité entre Rey Mysterio Jr et Eddie Guerrero continue de faire rage alors qu’une rivalité se dessine entre Lance Storm et Chris Benoit. On raconte que Mick Foley serait sur le point de faire un retour avec une grosse fédération selon le site wrestling heat. Le 23 ce tenait Wrestlemania qui a eu une cote d'achat de 1,43. 18 621 ont assisté au PPV de la WWE.

La fin du mois sera le temps de faire un premier bilan, peut-être de signer une nouvelle entente télé, c’est en tout cas le souhait d’Hogan.

WCW Nitro #4 Hogan Era Micheal Cole : Bienvenue à ce dernier Nitro avant Uncensored qui aura lieu dimanche prochain. Ce soir, il y a une lutte à finir pour savoir qui sera de la finale du tournoi pour le WHC.   Jimmy Hart : Plusieurs matchs pour le PPV seront annoncés ce soir. Plusieurs disent qu’il aurait mal encaissé une souplesse, je dirais que c’est plutôt les méthodes de travail de Randy Savage qui sont à questionner. Hall étant hors service pour un bon moment, c’est Kevin Nash qui le remplacera ce soir puisqu’il y aura un 1 vs 1 vs 1 entre Sting, Goldberg et Nash et le premier à être éliminé de ce match ne sera pas du match de dimanche pour le WHC. Vous ais-je dis qu’il a été décidé de faire de ce match un… HELL IN THE CELL ! En voilà de l’action! D’ailleurs, lors d’Uncensored, les titres par équipe seront attribués dans un TLC match opposant 4 équipes qui seront dévoilé plus tard. Le dernier Nitro a été le plus apprécié par les fans et a procurer les meilleurs cotes d’écoute depuis l’arrivé d’Hogan. La WCW a talonné la WWE a 0,39 du rating de 6,05 de la WWE. La relance de la WCW semble en bonne voix de réussir et les jeunes Cruiserwieght y sont pour quelque chose. Hogan et toute l’équipe de la WCW fondent beaucoup d’espoir dans le PPV qui aura lieu ce dimanche. Voici d’ailleurs un résumé de la carte…

WCW Nitro #5 Hogan Era Le show débute alors que le champion Hardcore est dans le ring. Raven est assis dans un coin, micro à la main et il ne dit rien. Alors qu’il s’apprête à prendre enfin la parole, la musique du Sandman éclate dans les hauts-parleurs et le prétendant au titre, Kando Stick à la main et clope à la bouche, s’amène vers le ring. The Sandman monte dans le ring et regarde Raven qui demeure dans le coin. The Sandman arrache le micro des mains de Raven mais le champion Hardcore suis avec le micro et la bataille éclate entre les 2 hommes. The Sandman prend l’avantage en éclantant son Kando Stick sur la tête du champion. The Sandman prend le micro et l’éclate lui aussi sur le front de Raven. Effectivement, toute une soirée hier avec Randy Savage et Scott Steiner ont décrochés les titres par équipe et Goldberg le titre de champion du monde grâce à Mick Foley qui a fait un retour en s’en prenant à Monsieur WCW, Hollywood Hogan. Micheal Cole : Monsieur nWo qui est devenu monsieur WCW, il faut le faire. Mais Foley a surpris bien des gens avec ce retour à la WCW. Il aurait signé un contrat de légende et serait surtout présent comme consultant. L’équipe d’actionnaire trouvant plus sécuritaire de ne pas laisser Hogan seul à la tête de la compagnie. Jimmy Hart : Pourquoi pas ? Il fait un bon boulot jusqu’à maintenant ! Micheal Cole : Pour éviter le Powertrip qu’il commençait déjà à avoir. Il y a aussi eu The Hurricane et Raven qui ont conservés leurs titres et nous avons eu droit à toute une démonstration de lutte de la part de Guerrero et Storm qui ont eu le dessus sur Rey Mysterio Jr. et Chris Benoit. He used a pull of the tights to get Parka over! 1....2...3! The referee was out of position and didn't see it! Parka \ Hurricane look like they aren't done...and they attack X-Factor! After an exchange of blows, Credible and Pac are laid out in the ring. My Opinion: Absolutely solid match. A few minor things brought it down, so I'm tacking on a **** rating. Match Overall : 87% (Crowd : 82% , Match : 92%) Micheal Cole : Une grosse victoire par X-Factor. Est-ce que ce duo sera de retour ensemble pour plus d’un soir ? Jimmy Hart : Je ne sais pas mais il se montre plus prometteur que les 2 gars habillés pour passer l’halloween. Micheal Cole : Toujours est-il que X-Pac semble avoir les yeux sur le titre du Hurricane, lui qui lui tourne autour depuis deux semaines. Jimmy Hart : Entre toi et moi, je m’en fou de ce titre. Par contre le prochain match mettra en jeu un match bien plus important, soit celui des USA. Micheal Cole : Effectivement, Booker T doit defendre son titre ce soir contre nul autre que Lance Storm. Jimmy Hart : D’ailleurs, Storm est sur le ring et semble avoir des choses à dire avant ce match de championnat. Lance Storm : Les États-Unis sont dégrandant. Ce pays se croit le plus fort et pourtant, il est tranquillement détruit par la drogue, les excès, le racisme, la vantardise. C’est un pays en décrépitude tant sur le plan humain qu’économique. C’est pourquoi, quand j’aurais pris ce titre des mains de Booker T, je le renommerai le Canadien Title. Hogan s’approche de Foley mais avant même d’ouvrir le bouche, toute la New World Order s’en prend à Foley qui en mange toute une ! Jacknife Powerbomb par Nash, Leg Drop of Doom par Hogan. Sting, Goldberg et Bret Hart s’amènent sur le ring mais la nWo quitte le ring, ayant déjà passé leur message…Ils s’arrêtent sur la rampe et les 4 de la nWo et les 4 dans le ring se fixent longuement. Il y a effectivement une difficulté a avoir de bons matchs de qualité ET la foule. Mais ça va se placer avec le temps!

Pour la non-apparence de Guerrero le lendemain du PPV, son match l'a laissé en mauvais état et je lui ai laisser le temps de récupérer!

Un gros bilan du mois sortira sous peu et quelques nouvelles vont changer la dynamique de la WCW... J'espère que ces bilans vous aideront à me suivre, c'est le plus long à faire !
